Servicing: What to Expect
When is servicing required?
We recommend servicing:
Annually from the date of purchase, or after six inflations (whichever comes first).
Additional checks are advised following:
- A significant fall or accident
- Visible damage
- Any concern over function or performance
Standard Service – £60 (including pre-paid label)
All services are completed by trained technicians at our UK HQ and include:
- System integrity checks
- Airbag inflation and pressure testing
- Trigger function testing
- Mechanical safety inspection
- Trigger system assembly inspection (keyball, piston, spring, thread and cap)
- Lanyard and saddle strap inspection
- Visual inspection of airbag
- Shell and zip inspection
Replacement Parts – Transparent Pricing
If a replacement is required, we will always contact you before carrying out any work.
Indicative costs:
- Airbag replacement – £40
- Trigger system replacement – £25
- Replacement lanyard – £22.50
- Replacement saddle strap – £8
- Zip replacement – £40
- Shell repairs – quoted following assessment
- 3-Year Airbag Refresh
For optimal long-term performance:
£60 with registered jacket and annual servicing - £95 without annual servicing history
Sending Your VeloAir for Service
- Remove the gas canister before sending
- Do not use Royal Mail
- Use a tracked courier service
- Return postage is covered by us
- Customers send jackets to us
- Prepaid return labels available

The correct canister size is supplied with every jacket and printed inside the canister pocket. Our team is always happy to help if you’re unsure.

- 1-year warranty on complete air vest
- Extended to 2 years on airbag and trigger when registered
