Racesafe is proud to announce the launch of the VeloAir, a significant new development for the brand that introduces lightweight, slimline air protection designed to be worn seamlessly over a show jacket or for everyday riding.
Created through an extensive iterative design process, the VeloAir Air Gilet has been shaped by real rider feedback, testing and trials across disciplines. The result is a refined, unisex air gilet that delivers certified protection without compromising performance, comfort or style.
Certified to the NF S72-800:2022 equestrian air-bag standard, the VeloAir inflates in an impressive 0.095 seconds, offering rapid protection when it matters most. A bespoke airbag pattern ensures controlled, even inflation, while maintaining a slim silhouette suitable for competition and everyday riding alike.
The gilet features a water-repellent, wipe-clean outer fabric with a waterproof zip and matte finish, making it practical for all weather conditions. Thoughtful shaping, including a low V-neck, sculpted shoulders and carefully designed armholes, allows the gilet to sit neatly over a show jacket without restricting movement or coverage.
Available in Black and Midnight Navy, the two colourways were selected after analysing the majority of show jackets currently on the market, ensuring a sleek and polished match.
Designed for riders aged 10+ (minimum weight 30kg) through to adults, the VeloAir Air Gilet offers an adjustable waistband for a tailored fit, whether worn over a t-shirt or multiple layers.
