The Racesafe VeloAir is a lightweight, slimline equestrian air jacket designed for both everyday riding and competition. Its unisex design and adjustable waistband create a tailored fit that sits neatly over a show jacket, so subtle, it’s almost invisible.

The VeloAir is engineered for rapid protection, inflating in under 0.095 seconds when activated. Certified to NF S72-800:2022, it meets the latest safety standards for rider protection, and with a durable, water-repellent outer, its easy to wipe clean, making it ideal for use in all weather conditions.

Available in Black and Midnight, with sizes for young riders and adults (minimum rider weight 30kg).

The VeloAir comes in Black and Midnight; colours that have been chosen to compliment show jackets on the market.

The VeloAir is designed as a close fitting, stand-alone air jacket. However, if you wish to wear the VeloAir over a body protector and it fits comfortably, this is also fine.

The VeloAir offers torso, hip and neck coverage.

4 sizes are available to provide effective protection according to the airbag volume. VeloAir uses 30g for YR1 / YR2, 38g for YR3 / A1, 45g for A2 / A3 and 55g for A4 / A4T.

MotionAir canisters cannot be used in the VeloAir.

Riders must weigh more than 30 kg to wear the VeloAir.

Certified to NF S72-800:2022, it features rapid airbag inflation in under 0.095 seconds.

Care and maintenance

If you VeloAir gets dirty, wipe clean with water. Do not use bleach or detergents and do not machine wash.

Hang in a dry place away from a radiator or heat source, or lay flat. Storing your VeloAir in it's bag is a great way to keep it clean.

We recommend servicing your air jacket annually.
